The first “It’s All About Family” (2008) was planned by a group of first cousins. The committee was direct descendants of Lila and Raymond Chambers of the Baltimore, Maryland area. The concept was to honor the elders of the Parkers, Cooks, Ellis, and Chambers as descendants of these four families who are part of the same family tree. We honored the oldest living sister (Doris Tolson) of Raymond Chambers and (Sara McSwain) of Lila Chambers. Raymond and Lila’s living children: Gloria Stokes, Carol Holly, Patricia Watson, and Jerome Chambers were honored. This was to set a new legacy of honoring those who are the oldest living descendants of the Parker, Cook, Ellis, and Chambers family tree. These are family pictures of prior events and some recent pictures of family members in Baltimore.

In 2010, and 2018 additional events (Represent Your Football Team Cook-Out and Christmas in July recognition luncheon) were held to honor the eldest of our descendants. These images are family pictures from the three previous events. In 2024 we celebrated the fourth “It’s All About Family" event themed “EXTRAVAGANZA!” in the Baltimore area! New photos have been added from our week-end “EXTRAVAGANZA!!!!
